Alba Rosa, Pub and shoes!

Hello again! Last night was my friends Molly, Hope and Jo's birthday celebration at the pub it was also my good bye to everyone as I am on holiday for the whole summer. I don't really know how, but I spent most of the day looking at pictures of Pin and Angeleek and I just ended up wearing all my Alba Rosa and doing a nose stripe. Recently I have been tanning more and more as I am desperate to be able to call myself Kuronbo (96gal) I'm sick of being Shiro!

Before people start telling me that Sentaa (my look ended up looking a bit like it) is dead, there are still a handful of Sentaa left in Japan so it isn't dead although most of them graduated last year. I also uploaded pictures of my new shoes I bought last week! They were £40 from River Island and they have a "hidden heel" which means they look like normal trainers but in fact you are much taller. LIKE MAGIC.

I thought they would be super comfortable ... THEY ARE NOT. THESE THINGS ARE EVIL AND I LOVE HATE THEM! I wore them for ten hours walking around London, not doing that again!

The heel is about 4 inches I think and makes little me about the normal height for a guy! I also got my mum (how embarrassing) to do my nails for me, I wanted something simple that will last until Finland (OMG I AM LEAVING TONIGHT I AM SO NERVOUS AHHHHHHHHHHHH) We went for black and white to match my outfit :)
Nails <3
I had to keep my outfit quite plain as most of my stuff is about to be packed, but I whipped out all my Alba Rosa ready for the Pub :)
My outfit
 Coat: Alba Rosa
Top: Alba Rosa
Necklace: Alba Rosa
Jeans: Topman
Shoes: River Island
Sash: stall in London
You can't really see me!
Here are a few photos from the Pub :)
Hope was actually talking about the giant knife she had to cut her cake ... I didn't realise what was happening when I took the picture and we all burst out laughing when we saw this.

Some drinks
I drank way more than I normally do and ended up being rather drunk on the way home. My mum said I needed the practice for Finland though.
Drunk me eating chocolate!
I got hungry after dieting all day ... so I ate my chocolate frog from harry potter. I feel sad that I ate it and sad that I ruined my diet the day before Finland! :(

I'm going to miss all my school friends, it hasn't hit me yet that it's over and that I am growing up. I don't like it! Anyway I should get out of bed and finish packing ready for my flight. OH GOD WHAT IF I FORGET SOMETHING?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!!!!

Okay, Bye! Tobi ^_^ x

(sorry for my weird writing style, I'm too excited about Finland) x

Kurogyaruo, Purikura, Lorraine, Egg magazine and Food! (picture heavy)

Yesterday I went down to London to see my Dad for the first time in about 8 months and to see my best friend Lorraine. I haven't seen my dad in ages because he lives and works in Nigeria now.
My Dad is from Argentina so we went to the amazing Argentinian restaurant (where the vegetarian option is just chips) It was still fun though and so nice to have my family all together for the first time in years.
We talked about Nigeria, had a fight about the Falklands and then took photos ... unfortunately I have recently started going Kurogyaruo ... and I had a fake tan accident in the morning so you can only see my Purikura pictures!

Incredible Argentinian food <3 Shame I can't eat it!
My Family x
While my Dad is Argentinian, they met in Paris (where I was born) so we all talk in French together ... except my sister because her French isn't good enough yet :P she just sat there drinking coke.
Trafalgar Square, London.
Beautiful city :P <3
Then after Lunch with my family I went to meet Lorraine for Gyaru shopping, Purikura and to catch up after not seeing each other for ages ^_^ Lorraine is normally a Manba but yesterday she wasn't feeling too good so she dressed more casual (but bitch is way more tanned than me!!!)
She will kill me for putting this picture up!
We went to a little expensive Tapas bar thing near the Japan centre that we always end up in for some reason. I had this yummy tomato on bread thingy and Marinated olives ... Lorraine had some weird meat thing that looked like the stuff you find down the back of a sofa.

It was yummy!
They don't sell Gyaru magazines in Finland so I did a little shopping trip for some people, Men's egg for me, Men's egg for Alex, Jelly for Marinka and Egg for Viivi. :)
I also bought myself some special paper you use to take grease off your skin without ruining your makeup! It's amazing.

Lorraine also gave me some presents, An Alba Rosa necklace (she has one too, they are now our friendship necklaces because we are cute and childish) this Alba Rosa top (I need to lose a few more pounds so I can fit in it better) and some lashes :) So I bought her a little Stitch bag that said Disneyland Tokyo on it ^_^ x

As of this lunch time I have officially finished school!!!! My exam yesterday went horrendously but today's was okay! I just have to hope for a miracle so I can get into uni. This officially means my summer has started and a week today I go to Finland, AGE!! I have so much I need to do before I'm ready, I have another few pounds to lose and I need to pack and do my last minute shopping.

I can't wait for Finland, got so many exciting things planned like some fancy dress parties, beach parties and I'm going to Helsinki Pride with the amazing Project Q! If anyone is reading this who is going to be in Helsinki at some point during July and would like to meet up please send me a message or comment ^_^

In other news my Set from Kumimakiko.com arrived today. I did check the measurements for the shorts so I knew how short they were going to be ... but I think I will buy some leggings tomorrow to wear underwear to make me look less like a transvestite.

 Shorts and hoody

Here is the set on, I like it, but I might find some different leopard print shorts to go with it, something a little bit more manly. (they look like a skirt)

I look scarily like a not hot Chris Koo here!!!

Recently I bought 4minutes new album (they are performing in London on saturday and I am missing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :'( so upset) It is amazing!!!! I've always been a big fan of 4minute and I think they deserve to be bigger than they are.

Here is my favourite song from the album:

Anyway I will probably update this weekend as I am going to London to buy gyaru magazines, take purikura and have fun before Finland! x

Thank you to all my new followers as well <3 x Tobi x

Another update as my belt came. Here is my outfit today excuse my face I look grumpy. It's now 12 days to go until Finland, I'm excited but also really nervous, I'm scared I'm not going to be fashionable enough I'm also scared that I will forget something important! (I always over pack no matter where I go ...  but I'm flying ryanair so I have a tiny suitcase allowance NOOOOOOO) This outfit was Akinari inspired, same as always cute t shirt and skinny jeans :P

My outfit
I tried on my new Jewerich n.2 lashes ... they are really pretty but I don't think they suit me and make me look too much like an ugly tranny.

My D.I.A belt arrived yesterday. I was a bit nervous that it would be dull or I wouldn't like it but I think it's perfect, it's not too girly but still flashy enough for what I want :) Here are some pictures.

Oh yeah baby, I see you staring at my crotch. I know what you're looking at.
and here is a stupid gif I have such yucky bunny teeth.
In other news, I really want to learn this para para routine! I hope you all have a good weekend, and a good summer if you are on holiday already. Next Friday I am going to London to see my dad and take purikura and eat shit loads of japanese food (plus buy gal mags for people in Finland) so expect a post about that too :) and one when my cute hoody, shorts set comes x Tobi ^_^ x

New hair, Jewerich lashes, more gets and summer hair inspo!

Okay, another little update already! I dyed my hair with the help of my scary sister (she's a moody bitch) My roots were totally horrendous and while I liked my old two tone, the trend seems to have passed and mine had definitely grown out. I was debating between going blonde or going for a light brown which seems to be popular amongst gyaruo at the moment. In the end I chose blonde just because I haven't been blonde in a very long time. (good reason)

I made this stupid gif of us dying my hair and my eyebrows. Sorry I look so ugly!

Here are a few photos of me doing a more traditional gyaruo look with my new hair colour. I think I went a bit too light because it makes my eyes a bit dark and creepy.

Why does my face look so ugly?!

Lashes, Lenses and Gets!

Okay so ANOTHER post already, my contacts, bottom lashes and lash glue came. I ordered the Princess Mimi Chocolate Brown as they were half price on Pinkyparadise. (warning a lot of self hate in this post)

I also ordered these bottom lashes from ebay and this eyelash glue from amazon. I am so suprised I thought these lashes would be tiny and cheap but they are actually more dramatic than Diamond Lash princess eye!!!!!!!!!!!! and less than £5 from a uk seller so they came quite quickly! Really impressed with them, not so impressed with the glue, it's strong but takes AGES to dry and gets really tacky but still does the job so no complaining.

Now for my Akinari inspired look, excuse my bad complexion and lack of tan ... natural lighting and lack of sun recently. Also this picture makes my hair look shit!!!

I can't take photos of myself, I'm sorry this is the best I can do! my hair looks so bad -_-
Now for the makeup fails!!!
Sorry about the lower lash placement, not used to these bottom lashes and they are actually wider than my top lashes so I had trouble placing them easily.

Bit of burn tool. No regrets, yolo!
I always have this problem, the inside edge of my lashes always comes off and I can never get it to stay for very long. If anyone has any tips please let me know! (yes I know I need liquid eyeliner and mascara but I haven't had a chance to buy them yet)
Now for the Akinari inspired casual Gyaruo outfit. I LOOK SO FAT FROM THIS ANGLE! Akinari wears a lot of casual cute t shirts and skinny jeans so this is my dressed down gyaruo look inspired by Akinari.

Derp to meet you.

THESE PICTURES MAKE ME LOOK SO UGLY! to prove this looks ok in real life I made some gifs with no photoshop just webcam!

Thank you for reading my blog <3 I will update when my next lot of things arrive.  Tobi <3

My Summer Gyaru Inspirations

Okay, there are going to be several parts to this post. It's going to be long, sorry!

After a long chat with my amazing gal friend Amélie I decided to make this post.
Part 1- Gal Mag Inspirations

I literally downloaded and went through this months, last months and the month before's Egg, Ageha, Popteen and Soul Sister and unfortunately  I couldn't find very much that interested me, gal fashion really is becoming increasingly more mainstream and I like the more extreme, fun styles that really have that old school gal feel of "rebellion and fun" which is why Soul Sister has become my new favourite gal magazine. It posts mostly Ora-Kei and Ane Gal but anyone interested in Kuronba, Ora, Banba, B-Gal or Ane will enjoy it. (This doesn't mean I don't like the softer, cuter more mainstream styles, they just don't appeal as much to me)

Ok so here are my inspirations from the most recent Soul Sisters:

I really love the casual ripped jeans, hoody, t-shirt and boots look. It looks really gal (as long as you have the right kind of hoody) and is a nice casual outfit on the days where you can't be bothered to go full out. My old Korean skinny jeans are coming to the end of their life so I will do a bit of DIY ripping to make them look more like these. If they turn out well I have another pair of black skinny's I can do it to. I really, really want a d.i.a hoody to be able to do this kind of look better but I don't think I can afford it at the moment. In the mean time I will have to settle with my normal black hoody and a d.i.a belt which will hopefully be arriving in a weeks time.

LOVE the hair these two girls have! and their boots!! <3 Another co-ord similar to the ones above. Hopefully when I am in Finland Alex will be able to style my hair like theirs.

NAILS!!! When I am in Finland (only 19 days to go) I am going to get some proper Gyaru/Akinari nails done, I can't wait. I want black and leopard print nails with a few gems.

And Ageha:

I love the accessorising in the left picture <3 and I love the rock edge the model on the right has the hoody is super cute, I want it!

Part 2- Japanese Gyaru/Gyaruo Inspiration

Old school gyaruo: These looks are long out of fashion but that doesn't mean that I can't still be inspired by them. This summer I want to get a strong tan, close to the old school sentaa, one of the main differences between gyaruo models and gal models is that most gyaruo models have some kind of a tan while it is less common amongst the girls. I also love the clothes and older looks, for the last year and a half the clothes in men's egg have been very American and plain in comparison.

Akinari: My favourite Gyaruo model <3 Akinari is the only Gyaruo I have seen who wears make-up and lashes. Something which I do too. My current hair was based on these two pictures below but it has grown out now and I am dying it soon.

Look at how god damn cute he is! look at this outfit! <3 furry leopard print heels! he is fabulous <3 x

Kuronba: I absolutely love this style and d.i.a. I love the tan, the hair colours and the sexy, wild aspect of this sub category. My summer look this year will be based upon Kuronba gyaru. So expect lots of denim shorts (and short shorts,) tan, big hair, blonde hair, ripped jeans and chains.

In other news my geo princess mimi chocolate brown circle lenses arrived yesterday. I'm not a review type person but I think I will have make a blog post about them because they are so unusal. I also went a bit crazy and randomly bought "deer spots/leopard/letter shirt + shorts (2PCS)SET
I am shit scared it's going to be way too small for me but I did some measuring and the free size hoody should just about fit and the shorts are hopefully an okay size. I'm also scared I won't be able to pull off the set and will look too girly/tranny. Fingers crossed it will fit and look okay! Here is the set, I bought it in red and leopard print.

I got the red one <3

Full shot of the set.
Okay that is all for now, as more of my gets for Finland arrive I will make more blog posts. I bought the Jewerich number 2 lashes, some bottom lashes from Ebay and of course my d.i.a belt so look forward to those.
